Reminiscing Our Favorite ’90s Pinoy Love Teams

In the Philippine Entertainment history, people have been an avid fan of showbiz tandems or more fondly called love teams. A phenomenal love team is a celebrity couple who are in the mainstream and receive a lot of entertainment projects.  They are featured in almost all entertainment magazines, newspapers, starred in box office films, highest rating shows, and appeared in hit TV commercials. Pinoy love teams make their fans giggle every time they are seen together. Their palpable chemistry on and off the screen seems so perfect that make almost everyone believe in real-world happy ending. The romance that they have shown in every movie and TV shows they make gives an endless supply of kilig to the entire audiences.

Who cares if you’re single or not, if you have a favorite love team whom you always look forward to they will make you believe that true love does exist and there is a perfect love story like theirs. Although they are not a real-life couple or some of them didn’t become one, people just can’t stop admiring them together. Even though many years have passed and some of these love teams have broken up, by just mentioning their names we can’t help but reminisce the ultimate “kilig” factor that these power pairs made us feel.

At least once in your life, these love teams made you feel giddy whenever you see your favorite celebrity pairs on TV or movie screen. You might have never fail to watch a single movie or TV show of them together and most probably, you’re one of their thousands of fans who wished and hope that their reel team-up become for real. Before the era of John Lloyd-Bea, Piolo-Juday, Kristine-Jericho, Kim-Gerald, and Kathryn-Daniel love teams, there are other more love teams who captured the hearts of the ’90s generation. Although, they were not all phenomenal love teams, they still made it to the most favorites on-screen couples.
