Monday Mixtape: Airport Mode
I love airports. Those who travel might have similar feelings despite our airports’ reputation.
Maybe it has to do with a forthcoming adventure or the lingering sense of it. Or maybe, it’s because any traveler finds home in this temporary dwelling: while waiting for a relative, a delayed flight, or the next morning just to skip checking in a hostel for only three hours.
During these waiting hours, one might read a book or play with a gadget, but usually, one listens to music.
Sometimes, a traveler stuck at an airport listens to music to fall asleep.
In that case, the best kind of music to bring along is not too rock or too soft. Music that does not wake you somewhere in the chorus, but does not bring you to deep sleep to miss your departure.
The following is a mix of chill music that drowns the noise of people coming and going in an airport, but lulls one to comfort.
